Danny, Kim, and Ron were exiting the automated plane and were talking about where to go now. Ron suggested Bueno Nacho and Kim agreed as it was a stable with her and Ron. Kim and Danny decided to order salads while Ron made what he called a Naco.

"Are you feeling any better K.P.?" Ron asked in between bites of his Naco.

"I've calmed down, yes." Kim answered as she played with her salad.

Danny looked at Kim with worry on his face. "Do you want to talk about it?" He asked, not having touched his salad in favor of fiddling with the possibly haunted communicator.

"I'm fine guys. Don't worry about it." Kim said, finally taking a bite of her salad.
-
"We're always here to talk." Danny told the redhead.
-
"Yeah Kim. We will always help you with anything you need." Ron agreed with Danny.
-
"I know. Thanks." Kim said to her friends. "Let's finish up here and get the sword checked out." She said to the two boys.

"On it." Both boys said in unison as they ate their food quickly.

Danny, Kim, and Ron were standing on the roof of Sidney's school, thinking that it would be better to be in the Infinite Realms to release the sword. Sidney greeted them and Danny filled him in. Danny and Sidney then flew Kim and Ron to a junkyard and Danny called Aranea.

"What seems to be the matter Phantom?" Aranea asked.

"We found a sword that my aura reacted to. It went into Kim's arm and it's like the tattoo you gave me. We wanted you to examine it and tell us what you know." Danny explained, still holding onto Kim, mostly her hand.

"Let me see the tattoo, miss Kimberly." Aranea said to the red headed human.
-
Kim released her hand from Danny's and showed Aranea the sword tattoo. "It went in my arm after I pulled it out of a stone pedestal." She said to the spider samurai.
-
Aranea examined Kim's wrist. "This is indeed a summoning tattoo. I can't say anything about its power until it is released." He said to the redhead.
-
"Okay, everyone, stand back." Kim said and everyone complied with her command. She held her hands like she was holding a sword and closed her eyes to focus. Her wrist glowed brightly and the light manifested into the same blade as was in the stone.

"Awesome." Ron said as he took a step towards the blade.
-
All the ghosts in attendance stood frozen, watching the blade in Kim's hands. Danny could feel a rush of energy in the blade. He felt his aura be drawn to it but held it back until Aranea examined it.
-
"Well? Are you going to examine it now?" Kim asked the samurai.
-
"Sorry, miss Kimberly. The power in that blade is strong. I don't believe I can touch it. It looks as though it is an artifact made by an ancient Halfa. Perhaps it can harm Ghosts and Spirits, but I don't know if it will kill them." Aranea explained to the red headed human. "Do you wish to learn swordsmanship?" They asked

"Yes. I don't know anything about how to fight with a sword." Kim answered just as Danny reached out to touch the blade and pulled his arm back as if he touched a hot stove. "Aranea just said he couldn't touch it, why do you think you could?" She asked.

"I think it's absorbing ambient energy, my aura is still attracted to the sword." Danny told Kim.
-
"Perhaps it will allow Miss Kimberly to use the energy of the Infinite Realms as a halfa would. But there is usually an assistant spirit to help those who wield an artifact." Aranea said in a curious voice.

'Damn it Wade.' Danny thought to himself as he pulled out the 'fried' communicator. "Check this Aranea." He handed the communicator to the spider samurai.
-
"You don't think Wade was right, do you?" Ron asked as Aranea examined the device.
-
"Technology malfunctions whenever exposed to ectoplasm. At least, when my parents were concerned." Danny told the others.
-
"There is a spirit trapped in this device. Phantom, you may need to free them." Aranea said as he handed the communicator back to Danny.
-
"Shouldn't Kim do that? They would be her guiding spirit. I can guide her through the meditation technique." Danny said.
-
"I want you to do it." Kim said. "I don't trust myself to go through with it." She said, giving Danny a puppy dog pout.
-
"Okay, if you want, but I will probably need to hold onto your hand while I do this. Just so they know who to guide." Danny said as he sat down crosswise on the ground and held out his hand.
-
"Very well." Kim put away the sword and sat down across from Danny and held out her hand with the sword tattoo. "Let's do it." She said as Danny gently took her hand.

"Okay, all you need to do is to clear your mind of everything and look into the energy inside of you." Danny explained. "I'll try and pull you into the mindspace with the communicator." He said as the global hero went into a meditative trance.
When Danny felt Kim go into her trance, Danny tried to pull her into the mindspace. There was the ordinary darkness and the orb of the spirit's core. It was sparking and shifting colors suddenly, almost like it was glitching. There were a multitude of mini orbs that reminded Danny of his separated core. The mini orbs converged and turned into Kim.

"That was just like you said it was." Kim said as she saw Danny in the mindscape. "Easy too." She said and she flexed her hands and arms.
-
"Of course it was easy. You can do anything." Danny told her. "Can you see the spirit's core in front of us?" He asked Kim.
-
"The giant orb there?" Kim pointed to the orb.
-
"Yes. Try touching it." Danny suggested to Kim.
-
"Okay." Kim did as she was told and touched the giant, glitching, orb. She held her hand on it and closed her eyes. She held it there for a minute and released her hold. "They say they are in pain, I can feel it. Can you help them?" She had tears in her eyes.

"I can try. I'm still new to all of this." Danny told Kim and held her hands. "Let's try both touching the orb. Did they say anything?" He asked

"Just that they need help." Kim replied.
-
"Okay, let's try to help them." Danny said as he released her dominant hand. "Like I said, let's try both touching the orb and see what I can do." He said, raising a hand to the orb. Both of the heroes reached out and touched the orb.
A pain shot through Danny's arm, but he kept it there. 'We want to help. I'll try to get your energy under control." Danny thought to the orb. "Kim, try pushing in some of your energy the same time I do." Danny said to the redhead.

"I'll try. Just tell me when." Kim said through gritted teeth.
-
"Now. I'll try and regulate both of our energies." Danny said as both he and Kim pushed in some energy. Danny imagined regulating their energy, like he was repairing the communicator, since the spirit is trapped in it. As both he and Kim pushed in energy, the pain lessened and Danny could start to hear the spirit's voice.

"Please. Help. You're almost there." The spirit pleaded as Danny worked on the metaphorical communicator. As the pain lessened and lessened into nothingness, her voice became clearer. "Thank you. Thank you." They said in a smoother voice.

"Okay. I'm gonna try and pull us back into the waking world. Is that alright with you two?" Danny asked the human and spirit.
-
"Yes." They both said in unison.
-
"Okay, here goes." Danny said as he mentally pulled out the three of them from the mindscape. Danny opened his eyes to find Kim slowly blinking and a glowing communicator in her hand. "You alright Kim?" Danny asked.

"Yeah, just a little headache." Kim said and she held her hand. "Where's the spirit?" She asked.
-
"I'm right here." Came a voice from the communicator.
-
Kim and Danny looked at the communicator and saw that it looked different. It was purple with green accents. It levitated out of Danny's hand and floated between them.
-
"Woah, what happened to the communicator?" Ron asked.
-
"I am Creos and I seem to now be stuck in what you call 'the Kimmunicator'. Why is this so? I'm supposed to be in the sword's mark." The spirit, now named Creos, said, floating around to look at everyone present before turning their gaze back to Kim. "You are Kim Possible. Yes?"

"Yes? How do you know my name? I didn't introduce myself." Kim said.
-
"Because I was made for you." Creos said to Kim.
-
"Like, me specifically?" Kim asked the spirit.
-
"Yes. I believe that my creator said that there was some 'time fuckery'? I don't really remember." Creos told the red headed hero. "You must have met my creator in the past, but your personal future."
-
"So, I will time travel at some point. Great." Kim said flatly, curling up into herself.
-
"Like hell you are doing that alone." Danny said to Kim. "I'll be there with you the whole time, I'm sure." He said with as much conviction he could muster.
-
"Yeah, me too." Ron chimed in. "I'm likely still your distraction." He said confidently.
-
Kim chuckled. "Thanks guys. That means a lot. Now." She stood up. "Creos, what can you tell us about the sword?"
-
"It is the Blade of Velgalta. It can change to a weapon that the wielder wills it to be. Its default form is a sword, but it can become a shield or a hammer, or whatever you want. It also has different abilities for each form. That is why it was only made for one person, Kim Possible." Creos explained to the group. "To help her fight, the Blade of Velgalta absorbs ambient energy and allows her to use it as a halfa can." They said, floating up to Kim's face.

"Wicked. So she is a half ghost like Danny?" Ron asked.

"No. She is still human, but he is not. Not anymore anyway." Sidney said. "I can sense it."
-
"She's more what my creator would call 'liminal'." Creos said in response to Ron. "Halfa is an umbrella term."
-
"So she is a superhuman now? Awesome. I wonder what powers your weapons have, Kim." Danny said to the redhead.
-
"I can help with that." Creos spoke up. "That is my job after all." They said smugly, before glitching.
-
"Kim, I just got a signal from your Kimmunicator. Did you get it fixed?" Wade said as he popped up on the screen.
-
"Hey, watch it." Creos said to the computer kid.
-
"Who's that, guys?" Wade asked.
-
"I am Creos. Who are you?" Creos asked.
-
"Wade, the kid who runs Kim's website." Wade asked the spirit. "And what are you doing on the Kimmunicator?"
-
"I am the Kimmunicator. I'm a spirit stuck in it." Creos explained.
-
"So I was right when I said it was haunted? Sorry that I jinxed it." Wade said, trying not to laugh.
-
"Yeah, I guess I'm haunting it. I think you can blame the Halfa for that." Creos said.
-
"Sorry." Danny apologized. "I didn't expect fixing a metaphorical Kimmunicator would keep you in there." He explained.
-
"Anyways, what were you saying about me being 'liminal'?" Kim asked Creos.
-
"Right, you will have abilities that are superhuman. Enhanced Strength, Speed, Agility, Flexibility, Senses, and you may get some basic ghost abilities like invisibility, intangibility, and/or flight." Creos explained. "Oh, and you can speak almost any language, living or dead." They added.
-
"Really? Kim, Can you understand me?" Danny asked in Gholric.
-
"Yeah. So I take it that you were speaking Gholric just now?" Kim asked in Gholric.
-
"Yeah. Awesome." Danny said, pumping his fist.
-
"So, I'm the only one who can't speak Gholric. That is so not fair." Ron said in a pout.
-
"I can't speak it." Sidney said.
-
"No, but you understand it." Ron retorted.
-
"Sam and Tucker can't speak or understand Gholric." Danny told Ron.
-
"Oh, right." Ron scratched the back of his neck.
-
"Now that we know who can speak or understand Gholric, maybe we should learn what powers each of my weapons have." Kim said, a little exasperated.
-
"Right. That's again where I come in." Creos said. "Although, I won't know until you make the weapon, but the sword form can cut Ghosts and Spirits, even if they were intangible. It can also open portals to where you can currently see or will see when you get in a fight." Creos explained. "The energy absorption will be present in all forms of the weapon." They added.

"Can I make it into armor?" Kim asked the spirit.
-
"Sure, I don't think there is a real limit for what you can make the Blade of Velgalta take for you. At least, that is what my creator said." Creos told the redhead.

Kim put her fists together, closed her eyes and took a deep breath. There was a bright light and when the light dimmed, Kim had on two gauntlets on her arms. Kim looked at them with a smirk on her face. "I can work with this. At least until I master swordsmanship." She said as she threw a few test punches.

"Yes, from what I have seen from your fighting style, this form is more fitting." Aranea said to the redhead. "Creos, will the tattoo change to the last form the Blade of Velgalta takes, or will it remain a sword?" They asked the spirit in the communicator.
-
"It should remain as the gauntlets until she changes the shape, as a weapon or tattoo. Now, this form will allow you to blast out absorbed energy, similar to how a Ghost or Spirit does. It should also be able to make a wall of energy to block ecto-blasts, but not solid objects." Creos explained the new features the Blade of Velgalta now has as a pair of gauntlets.

"Will Kim now have two tattoos, or will it be one tattoo that shows two gauntlets?" Danny asked Creos, curious.

"I don't know. I haven't had much experience doing this type of thing because the Blade of Velgalta was made for only Kim Possible." Creos revealed in a sheepish voice.

"Do you know if there is a way to remove it from my person? In case my parents get mad and won't let me have it. What do I do then?" Kim asked.
-
"I'll take the blame. According to the official story, it was my Ectopi who found the sword in the first place, and I was the one to encourage you to pull it out." Danny said. "Hopefully that will take any anger off of you and onto me. As long as I have Scylla and Charybdis, I can take it. And if all else fails, I can always tell them about my powers, that should distract them from the tattoo for a little bit, right?" He asked, looking Kim dead(hah!) in the eyes.

"I can't ask you to do that." Kim started, but Danny held up a hand.

"You're not asking, I'm telling. My secret is not so important that it keeps me from helping my friends." Danny told Kim. "It's my secret, so I get to decide who to tell or who not to." He told her.

"Listen to him, Kim." Ron spoke up. "I would do the same thing if I could. That is just what friends are for." He told Kim.
-
"Yeah, I may not have much experience with true friends, but I know what they are saying is true." Sidney said.
-
"It seems that you are out voted, Miss Kimberly." Aranea said with a small chuckle.
-
"Yeah, plus you'll have me to explain it to them." Creos said in a proud voice.
-
"Yeah, Kim. I'll show them the video of you pulling out the sword." Wade said from the communicator.
-
Kim gave a smile with tears in her eyes. "Thanks guys. That means a lot."
-
A beep sounded from the communicator. "Kim, there's a hit on your site. It's a robbery at the Axiom Labs. Looks like Shego." Wade said. "Are you up for it?" He asked, seeing the tears in Kim's eyes.

"Yeah." Kim wiped away the tears from her eyes. "I just need my mission suit. And Ron and I'll be there." She said as she looked at Danny. "I need you to open a portal and fly me to my house." She told him.

"Why don't I just open a portal to your house? For you and Mister Ronald?" Aranea suggested. "I know where you both live and can choose an adequate spot for you to exit into the living world." They said to the redhead.

"I'm coming too. If at least so, I can open those portals for you at a later point." Danny said before he split himself in two. "That way we don't have to depend on Aranea for that kind of portal." Danny-1 said.

"I thought you wanted to keep your powers a secret?" Ron asked. "Wouldn't Phantom joining us be suspicious?"
-
"Not if the robber is a Ghost or Spirit. Danny, I used my Town Sense, and it is definitely a ghost. We can just say we were on patrol the same time as Kim and Ron got there." Sidney said to the two half ghosts.

"That gives us credence to be there. What with the ghost there." Danny-2 said to Kim and Ron.
-
"Alright, fine. You get to meet my parents before dinner tonight." Kim told the Dannys. "Which of you is coming with me?" She asked.
-
Both of the Dannys hit their fists on their hands in a match of Rock Paper Scissors and Danny-2 won. "I am." He said.
-
"Okay, now turn back into a human and we can go." Kim said and Danny-2 did as he was told and turned back into human.
-
"Did not expect that to work, honestly." Danny-2 said before turning to Danny-1. "You try to do it, and we can see if we can change who the original body is." He told him.
-
"Alright. One moment." Danny-1 said to his clone. He turned back into a human rather easily and nothing happened to Danny-2. "I guess it doesn't matter if we're the original or the clone, we can turn into humans. Maybe it has to do with the two cores?" Danny-1 asked. "Aranea, could you look into where I could learn how to access my plant core?" He asked the spider samurai.

"Very well, Phantom." Aranea said with a small bow. "Now, let us get to getting their mission suits." They said as two portals opened behind him.
