It was a peaceful sunny day…or so I thought.
"Goddamn it! Who thought I could fit in this size?!"
"Sir. Adrian, I came to help…you?"
I looked like a mess, the blazer was crumpled and the tie was strangling me.
David tried to hide his laugh by chuckling, but unable to suppress it he decided to step out of the room.
Darn 30 year old guy!

David returned to the room, calm and composed.
"I'm ready now." I said confidently, hiding the fact it took me 30 minutes to figure out.
"Alright Sir. Adrian, this will be your first official work."
We walked towards the office where desks stood and the smell of coffee lingered in the air. The people here were actual employees, I turned to face David. His smile was so wide it gave me chills so I hurriedly asked.
"What department am I in?"
"Sir. Adrian will be at the Field Operations department."
"...! No."
"Yes."
"Fine, just take me there."
"How compliant you are nowadays."
"Whatever."

I settled down in front of a desk. David said I will be reviewing the data and information I needed to know for two days.
"Guess I'll start now."
I read through the first file and it was already 12 noon. The others went out of the office so I remained. I made my way to the nearest coffee machine and planned to brew two.
"Here. As a thank you, for helping me."
"Unexpected." David said in a mocking tone.
You say that but you took it.
I turned to brew myself a coffee and a soft touch on my head made me flinch.
"Thanks kiddo."
I couldn't see his expression but judging from his voice, he was quite proud of himself.
I swatted his hand away, growling "get off." He took a step back, his smile still pasted on his face.
"Hey, do you… have a brother?" Out of nowhere I asked.
"How'd you—"
"Ahem"
"Ah madam, greetings."
"Hmm, David, did you perhaps forget to inform the little one about the rules?"
"A—ah, my apologies."
"No, it's okay. He is a special a—
…! A special employee!"
"???"
