Endless Chaos – Chaos Void Plane: The Path of Story

Chapter 3 – Ink and Imagination

The villagers slowly returned to their work after Raphael stopped the story.

But they kept looking back.

Some whispered.

Some argued.

"Maybe the hero could win."

"No human beats a dragon."

"It was still a good story."

Raphael heard everything.

And each word made him more certain.

Stories affect them.

Not just entertainment.

Something deeper.

Something tied to the strange laws of this world.

Lina followed Raphael as he walked through the village.

"You stopped the story too early."

Raphael smiled.

"That's called a cliffhanger."

"A what?"

"It makes people want the next part."

Lina frowned.

"That's evil."

Raphael laughed.

"You'll survive."

They stopped in front of the village elder's house.

Raphael knocked.

After a moment, the door opened.

Elder Garron stepped outside.

"Yes?"

Raphael scratched his head.

"I need something."

"What?"

"Paper."

The old man looked confused.

"Paper?"

"And ink if possible."

Garron studied him carefully.

"What for?"

Raphael smiled slightly.

"To write stories."

The elder eventually brought him a small bundle.

A few rough sheets of paper.

A simple ink brush.

And a small jar of dark ink.

"This is expensive," Garron warned.

Raphael nodded gratefully.

"I'll take care of it."

He returned to the empty guest house and placed the materials on the wooden table.

Lina sat across from him, watching curiously.

"You're really going to write the story?"

Raphael dipped the brush into the ink.

"Not just a story."

"What do you mean?"

Raphael looked at the blank page.

Back in his old world, writing stories was just a hobby.

Something people did for fun.

But here…

Stories might hold power.

Real power.

He slowly began writing.

Legend of the Dragon Slayer

Long ago, a terrible dragon descended from the mountains.

Its wings darkened the sky.

Its flames turned forests into ash.

No warrior dared to challenge it.

Until one man stepped forward.

A swordsman who believed that even dragons could fall.

He trained day and night, seeking a way to strike down the beast.

Finally, he created a technique.

A single strike that gathered all his strength, courage, and belief into one moment.

A strike known as…

Dragon Severing Strike

Raphael stopped writing.

Lina leaned forward eagerly.

"That's it?"

"That's just the beginning."

Raphael added a few more lines describing the technique.

How the swordsman focused his body.

How he stepped forward with complete determination.

How the blade fell with unstoppable force.

When Raphael finished, he placed the brush down.

"…Alright."

Lina stared at the page.

"Can I read it?"

Raphael slid the paper across the table.

"Go ahead."

Lina read slowly.

She struggled with a few words but managed to understand most of it.

Her eyes grew wider with each line.

"That's amazing!"

Raphael leaned back.

"Good."

But the moment Lina finished reading…

Something happened.

The air in the room changed.

The candle flame flickered.

The paper trembled slightly on the table.

Raphael sat up.

"…There it is."

Faint light shimmered across the ink.

Not bright.

But definitely real.

The words seemed to pulse gently for a moment before returning to normal.

Lina blinked.

"Did the paper just glow?"

Raphael slowly nodded.

"…Yes."

His heart was racing.

This confirmed it.

Stories were not just ideas in this world.

They had a connection to reality.

And belief made that connection stronger.

Lina looked excited.

"Does that mean the technique is real?"

Raphael hesitated.

"…Maybe."

Outside the window, a few villagers walked past.

One of them peeked inside.

"Are you still writing that dragon story?"

Raphael smiled slightly.

"Yes."

The villager grinned.

"You should tell it tonight. Everyone wants to hear the ending."

Raphael leaned back in his chair.

Perfect.

The more people heard the story…

The more people imagined it.

The more people believed it.

And if belief truly shaped reality in this world…

Then something incredible might happen.

Raphael picked up the paper again and looked at the name of the technique he had written.

Dragon Severing Strike

Back on Earth, it was just a cool name for a fictional move.

But here…

It might become something more.

Raphael smiled quietly.

"Let's see how powerful a story can really be."

Outside, the sun slowly began setting over the strange horizon of the Chaos Void Plane.

And somewhere deep within the unseen laws of this world…

A new narrative had begun to take shape.
