At the office, Jhonny was on his chair staring at the window behind him; looking at the sky. He thought of yesterday when Edana came down to Earth in that beam of light. "Jhonny!", Jerry snapped his fingers at him and Jhonny snaps out of it, turning his chair around to face him. Jerry sat across from him, "What you find?" he asked looking at Jhonny's papers, "I was doing a lot of researching and found something based on greek mythology, so it was worth it". "Jerry, I found something too", Jhonny started, "apparently angels are different than we thought". "What do you mean?" Jhonny was thinking if he should tell him what he had learned from Edana. What the real angels are like. He decided it was worth a try, "There are angels that are divided into fire and ice, They're enemies at war and they're from a different realm and it's not called Heaven, its called Mordin." Jhonny waited for Jerry's reaction. "Wait, what? That sounds like a fairytale story, Jhonny don't involve your stories in what's real here." Jerry laughed. Jhonny felt disappointed he didn't believe him, but he was prepared for it. Maybe he shouldn't know more, he thought. "Well whatever, I wanted to see if I could fool your dumbass," he said laughing, "Listen, man, I'm smarter than you, so good luck with that" Jerry stood up to get a water cup from the office. Jhonny's phone vibrated; he pulled it out of his pocket, turning on the screen. It was a message from his wife. He couldn't believe what she was saying. Edana is at her work. In an open area in the woods, Edana had found an abandoned cabin. She looked around the cabin and saw pictures of a family hanging on the wall. It was a family of four. two kids; a boy and a girl. She remembered Jhonny's family. How happy they look together, just like the family in the picture. The place looks good enough to live in, but she wonders what happened to the family that used to live here and why they just abandoned the place without taking any of their belongings. Maybe she could stay there in the middle of the woods; it will be safer for Jhonny and his family. It would just be her and Lynx alone, with nobody around for him to harm. She needs to prepare for that day, but she needed to do something first. She walked out of the cabin and looked around before exposing her wings. She was about to take flight but noticed the trees were too close together for her wings to fly by them. so she walked out of the forest and into the city to go see Susan. Susan is a psychiatrist at the General Psychiatric Hospital. She was working with a patient when Edana came into the room. "Ma'am, you need to have an appointment scheduled and wait in the waiting room," said the lady coming behind Edana. Susan got up. "This isn't a waiting matter," said Edana to the woman firmly. Susan got up and told her patient to hold on. She walked to the woman. "I'll handle it, Rebecca," she said. Rebecca hesitated and left to the front desk. "Um, Edana, what's wrong, why can't this wait?" "I need to know if it's safe to stay at an abandoned space with belongings, what if the family comes back?" "That's what's urgent?" she asked, "Yes" Susan laughed a little. "Alright, hey I'm having my lunch break after this, so you can wait for me in the waiting room, I won't be long" "Sure, I don't mind, those waiting chairs look comfier than the ones in Mordin" with that she walked out. Susan giggled at that and closed the door. She let Jhonny know she was at her work. He told her to call him when she could, so she did after her patient left. "Why is she there?" asked Jhonny. "She thought it was urgent to ask if she could stay at an abandoned house" "Maybe she didn't want the owner to come back and claim it" they both laughed. "Anyways, I got to go, she's waiting for me, I'm going to ask her if she can take me there to check it out and make sure it's abandoned. I don't know if she knows the difference in this realm" she told him and could hear him laugh at the other end. It made her happy to make him smile. "Alright, that's probably a good idea, I love you." "I love you too" and with that, she hung up and walked to the waiting room. "So, would you mind showing me where this place is?" asked Susan. "Follow me," she said walking out. Susan looked at her phone for the time, "I have enough time" she said. She looked up and saw Edana walking behind the hospital. "Edana!" she screamed, "where are you going?" "To the cabin of course," she said. Oh so it's in the woods, she thought. "We're going in my car," she said. Edana walked back to her. "You mean those?" she said pointing at the cars in the parking lot. "Yes, It doesn't scare you, does it?" she asked. "I've seen how they can function through The Watcher, but I don't know how it would feel being in one. Will it take us there faster?" she asked. "Of course, that's why people use them, let's go," she said walking to her car. Edana followed behind her. "know how to open it?" asked Susan."Yeah, I know how it works on the outside" Susan got in and so did Edana. She looked around the car and touched everything. "What do I do?" asked Edana. "Sit back and relax" she turned the car on and it startled Edana. "Oh it's alright, it's just turning on so I can drive it," said Susan. "I can feel it turn on," said Edana a bit scared. "That's normal" She started driving away from the hospital" "How do you feel Edana?" she asked. "It feels like I'm in a small box that moves" "And you mentioned you found a cabin, so is it in the woods?" "Yes, I managed to find a place away from humans and your family for your safety" "Know that we're still going to be willing to help, especially my husband, he's obsessed with angels and studying them." "Yeah, I noticed his commitment," she said. "Having that in mind, why did you come to me for this cabin?" asked Susan. "Well, you appear to know more about what I should do about the cabin, knowing your profession" "oh so you need advise" "Possibly, and I can't tell if it's abandoned from a human's perspective". "I thought so," said Susan smiling. They parked in the parking lot of the forest. Visitors could visit the woods and there was a park built there, so there were people and kids around. They got off the car and Edana leads her to an area with no people. They walked into the woods until they saw a small gate that read, "No Trespassing" Edana walked over it. "Why wouldn't they let humans go beyond that gate? and how is a small gate going to keep them out?" asked Edana. "It's just a warning?" said Susan. "A warning for what?" "People can't go beyond that gate because they can get lost in this part of the woods" After walking for eight minutes, they finally arrived at the cabin. "After that many turn we made, I think it will take a while for people to find this place," Susan said looking around the property. The cabin had a swing set and a porch with two rocking chairs. They went inside and Susan knew it was abandoned. There were dirty dishes, everything was dusty, there were papers and clothes scattered on the floor, the beds had small bugs on them. "It's definitely abandoned, are you sure you want to stay here?" she asked. "Yes, and there's a field ahead that's clear of woods, I can fly freely and know the state of my wounded wing." "Well, the place just needs some fixing and you have a wounded wing? and where are your wings?" "I hide my wings." How is your wounded wing doing since it got hurt?" "It's healing well enough if he sliced deeper into my wing, the wound would be too great to fix. I don't think it be able to fly to Inferno and end up here" Susan looked at Edana but as she stood on the cabin's doorway, she was focused on something outside. "He found it," she said going outside. Susan followed and stood beside her as they saw a white beam of light hitting the ground. It was on the field Edana was talking about. "Go inside now, he can't see me with anybody" Edana demanded Susan. She ran into the cabin and looked outside a small window at the beam of light." She looked at Edana and saw her transform into her angel form, she was amazed and scared. She heard a big thud on the field and saw a very tall angel. He had dark features and silver armor. His wings were massive and they looked like ice crystals. "Lynx' she said. Edana drew her sword and walked towards him. He noticed her, "Why do you hide like a coward, princess?" "Says the one that cowers away from his crimes instead of facing him like a real angel." Where are you getting at" he said. "I know what you did Lynx and I will expose the prince or should I say coward of Crystella. "I have no idea what you're talking about, but anyhow, I'm not going to let you come out of this realm alive." with that, he drew his sword and swung it at her.
