"Alright, I agree," Sabrina finally said after thinking things through.
He fulfilled his promise by summoning the maid to get her a gown, when she did, the same maid took the gown to her in the bathroom, after dressing, Sabrina came out and dried her hair,
"It's time for you to fulfill your promise, dear wife," Lucian said and Sabrina looked worried.
They both stood in Lucian's bathroom, Sabrina saw him start to strip himself in front of her and she quickly turned away from him,
"I'm waiting," he said once he was done and in the tub, Sabrina turned to see him sitted in the soap filled tub, she went close to him with a sponge, bent down and started washing his body, from his broad shoulders, to his back, he just stared at her uncomfortable state, she washed his chest, then stretched out her hand with the sponge to Lucian, who stared at it. "Please do the rest by yourself," she said staring at him pleadingly but he never took the sponge from her.
"I thought we made a deal? You have to be the one to bath me completely," he grinned saying this and Sabrina could feel cold beads of sweats form on her forehead.
Lucian stood up full length, so that Sabrina would have access to wash the rest of him, Sabrina turned her face away as she did.
Lucian grinned looking down at her, this man was totally shameless, Sabrina thought as she washed him, scared that her hands might touch something embarrassing, after washing the rest of him, he sat back in the water, Sabrina was in a hurry about to leave, she had reddened after what she just did, she was about to leave when Lucian stopped her,
"You are not done yet, sprout, you have to wash my hair too," he said and she frowned.
"I have bathed you already, why do I have to wash your hair too?" Sabrina asked confused and refusing to.
"Because along with bathing me, you have to wash my hair too as it is part of me," he said again, Sabrina had no choice but to go and get the conditioner, she came back and opened it before pouring the liquid in his silky smooth hair and she started massaging it, Lucian enjoyed the feeling of her small hands on his head, he moaned in satisfaction.
When she was done washing his hair and had changed the water, she got up wanting to go and return the conditioner, suddenly she slipped, the liquid fell out of her hand and she was falling, she was going to really hurt her bottom, she thought falling with her eyes closed but suddenly she wasn't falling anymore as Lucian pulled her to safety into the tub with him, saving her from hurting her bottom, the water splashed all over her, wetting her from head till toe, she fell on his chest, her hair sticking to her face, she stared wide eyed at him, who just grinned, she quickly moved away from him, ready to get up, instead Lucian started getting up and she quickly turned away from him,
"You stay," he said as he wrapped himself with another towel, "And if you want to change, Rosaline's spare clothes are in the closet over there," he said and Sabrina's eyes widen.
"So they were clothes in this room and you didn't say so earlier," she said in anger.
"Guess it skipped my mind," he grinned and walked out.
Crazy vampire, Sabrina thought to herself.
By noon Sabrina and Lucian were still in his room, after having breakfast and bidding their farewells to Sabrina's mother and Elena along with Hannah, Elena's mother, they had been sent by the Queen back into their room as they were newly wed.
Lucian sat at his desk reading a scroll, Sabrina sat at the edge of the bed reading the book of creatures, Lucian had given to her about mermaids, suddenly while reading it she remembered the name of the mermaid she saw in the water, "Airen," she said and Lucian raised his head to look at her, she also looked up at him.
"Her name is Airen... The mermaid that keeps coming to me," she explained to Lucian, "She said I should call out to her whenever I needed her, should I give it a try?"
"Go ahead," he replied, "We never know, she might answer you,".
Sabrina closed her eyes in concentration,
"Airen?" She called but no one appeared,
"Airen?" She called again, still no one as Lucian just stared at her, "Airen?" Still no one, she then opened her eyes, unhappy.
"Guess I was wrong," she said disappointedly.
"Try once again and this time focus," Lucian said and she closed her eyes once again, this time in deep concentration.
"Airen?" She called softly and suddenly she felt a presence in the room and opened her eyes to see the same lady she had met in the water, staring back at her, Lucian grin widened.
"You called out to me, your highness," Airen said standing like a ghost, floating in the air, Airen turned and saw Lucian, her eyes widen.
"Who is he?" Airen asked scared.
"You don't have to worry, he can be trusted," Sabrina said, strangely sure that Lucian would never betray or try to harm her, the vampire was a pervert but he was not a betrayer, he was a man of his own world.
"Oh I see, your soulmate," Airen said smiling at Lucian.
"He is not," Sabrina said frowning.
"He is, if you feel attracted to him and trust him, then he must be your soulmate, Kalisa," Airen explained as Lucian just watched them.
"I do not understand why you call me Kalisa or even why I am a mermaid, my parent are human and so should I be but I'm a mermaid," Sabrina said confused.
"There is an explanation for that," Airen said and Sabrina eyes widen, "You were given birth to by Lia, our late Queen, your mother and Zachery was your father but there was danger in Atlanta, as the evil sorceress, Aires along with the witches started attacking the people of Atlanta...." Sabrina listened attentively and so did Lucian,"Your parent feared for your life as you were just birthed, so your mother Lia quickly brought you close to the surface, there stood a pregnant woman, Sarphina she was standing by the sea, waiting for her husband, when Lia saw her, she was happy and in her abilities, she transferred your soul into Sarphina's unborn child, leaving her with an empty vessel, Lia took your body and buried it. Aires got to your parent soon and killed them with the dark magic the witches had provided her, this happened a long time ago," Airen said completing the story.
"What! Are you telling me the truth?" Sabrina asked in disbelief.
"You have got the ability to tell if one is lying, you can see right through anyone," Airen spoke.
"Thing is, she has not come into her full abilities yet," Lucian spoke for her.
"Oh okay but you need to soon, Queen Kalisa, we need you," Airen said, "We need you to protect us,"
"I know. So what happened to Aires?" Sabrina asked.
"The Lord was on our side that very day your parent died after we managed to defeat Aires and capture her but we couldn't save your parent, they protected us with their lives, now she is in the eternal dungeon," Airen said, "And we found out about you still being alive and knew that when you are now of age, you would rule us,"
"But I am not ready yet, I do not posses any powers," Sabrina said with a frown.
"You have to act fast and unleash your abilities, the time is ticking," Airen said with a frown, "I would have to return to Atlanta now, Kalisa. Call me whenever you need me and I will be here," and she disappeared into thin air.
"Oh goodness, I really am a mermaid and not just any ordinary mermaid but a royalty," Sabrina said in worry. How is she going to do this, how would she protect her so called people that she has just discovered of, and Lia and Zachery was her biological parent? Oh this was too much for her to digest. She had no one to share her sorrows with, she thought and suddenly felt a hand on her shoulder, she turned and saw Lucian who she had forgotten was present in the room, he sat beside her on the edge of the bed.
"This is too much for me, Lucian. I never knew that my mother was not my real mother and my father not my father actually and now I have a whole bunch of mermaids looking up to me to protect them from danger when I have had my abilities yet," she said with her voice shaking, "I turned out to be a mermaid, I was just an ordinary mortal, living a simple life and now suddenly all this came, where I should start from? I do not know, I do not have anyone, how would I fight this battle... Alone?" She burst into sudden tears that shocked Lucian, she had always proven to be a strong woman but now she was crying and in a vulnerable state, shaking with heavy sobs.
"Do not cry, my dear," Lucian said with a grin, "You have no right to waste your tears, I will be the one making you cry out in pleasure..." He said and Sabrina stopped and turned to look at him who was grinning and she glared at him.
"I meant to say you have got me, I will stand by you through thick and thin, remember our wedding vows, I will help you out with the quest of yours," he added and Sabrina stared at him.
"Really?" She asked and he just nodded, suddenly she embraced him in a tight hug, sobbing, it took Lucian by surprise he raised his hand and gently stroke her silky hair, grinning, this was going to be fun he thought to himself.
"Never did I think I would find someone who is willing to stand by me through this journey, I do not know what to do, I do not know where to start from," Sabrina said, never thought Lucian would want to help her, he seemed a devil to.
"Why don't we start from you learning more about yourself," he said
