That's not right.
When Seungcheol thought about it again he realised that Minghao has always been beautiful. There's been times when on some moments his eyes fell on Minghao and the sight of him had made Seungcheol exclame in admiration due to how beautiful he looked but those were really short moments like passing thought that would blow away with the wind in seconds.
But this is the first time a figure so gentle leaning against the window has been printed in Seungcheol's mind.
'This is ridiculous. I shouldn't be thinking about Minghao like this. Why am I even....'
The confusion Seungcheol felt grew denser and denser as if a thick fog was surrounding his ability to think.
But he didn't keep dwelling on these thoughts and quickly went to help Wonwoo arrange the tables and utensils for breakfast.
Due to having hangover he was feeling unwell and hungry so he gladly took the spicy ramyeon made by Mingyu and ate a generous bite with satisfaction. He was about to move for second bite when his phone started ringing.
He looked at who the caller was.
It was Sara.
He heaved a tired sign before picking up the call to talk with her.
It's not like he doesn't have any feelings for Sara as since the start of their relationship he was determined to treat the person who loves him well. He knew that the possibility of his first love coming true was very slim as he has witnessed first hand how much Jeonghan's love for Hyungwon was so he never hoped for the reciprocation of his feelings from Jeonghan.
So he needed to move on. Actually him getting into relationship had an another important reason too as it was a part of a deal with someone but after gradually spending time with Sara he got to know how lively and lovely she is. She always wants to see him happy and he always wants the best for her and that's the reason why their relationship is very stable even though it's been only a few months since they got into relationship.
But there's one thing he must admit, her clingyness sometimes annoys him. Most of the time he likes to indulge her but sometimes he could only sigh helplessly just like now.
Her purpose of calling everytime is always about asking simple things like what he is doing? What he is eating? If he has done this or that or if he is taking care of himself well plus she doesn't talk for a long time and hangs up with a quick 'I love you' everytime so the feeling of annoyance Seungcheol feel evaporates quickly and that's the reason he never avoids her calls or texts no matter how busy he is. How could he avoid such an adorable person?
He quickly finished talking with Sara and came back to sit and finish his breakfast when he noticed the increased quantity of noodles in his bowl than before he went to take the call.
From the corner of his eyes he saw Jeonghan sneaking glances at him and felt like his heart was being tickled, he smiled and shook his head before continuing to eat.
While eating he looked around to see Soonyoung and Joshua along with Seungkwan were teasingly calling Dino hyung. While Jeonghan was laughing along with them, suddenly Jun snorted and started laughing loudly for some reason which made everyone look at him with curious gazes.
Jun wiped the tear at the corner of his eye before saying, " I suddenly remembered Seungcheol hyung once called Minghao gege"
After hearing Jun say this almost everyone started demanding the context behind it curiously. After being friends with two Chinese people for so long, everyone of them by now knew a bit of Chinese especially a simple word like gege was easy to understand so they were curious about when this thing happened and why they didn't knew about it.
Listening to Jun's words made Seungcheol feel embarassed and when he glanced at Minghao who was looking at him with teasing smile, he was about to turn cherry red due to embarrassment.
This incident actually happened when they were still in high school.
Everyday at the time of lunch break, two people among their friend group were tasked to go buy and bring snacks for everyone of their friends and that day it was Seungcheol's and Minghao's turn.
They went to a nearby department store to buy variety of snacks when while standing and choosing different kinds of snacks, Minghao felt his uniform blazer being tugged. He looked down to see a cute little girl was staring at him with wide eyes.
The girl looked like she was about 5 or 6 years old. Minghao looked around him hoping to spot her guardian but he failed at it so he concluded that she must have been lost so he bent down to ask her where her parents are and if she is lost.
By then, Seungcheol came by their side and bent down too as he understood the situation. But the girl didn't answer the questions asked to her and instead kept staring at Minghao.
After a few moments, she opened her mouth and asked in a milky voice to Minghao, " Big brother are you a foreigner?"
Her question made Minghao feel stunned that a small girl knows to differentiate between people of different countries. He looked at her and he could feel that she has an innocent curiosity towards him and maybe a feeling of novelty due to meeting a foreigner.
So he smiled and replied, " Yes, I'm a Chinese person from a country named China"
The girl widened her already wide eyes even more and then smiled excitedly telling that Minghao looked like a handsome brother she saw on TV and when she asked her mother about him her mother once told her that the brother is actually a foreigner, an actor from c-drama. Though the little girl didn't understand completely the things her mother told her but she remembered the word foreigner.
She felt really happy to meet the handsome foreigner brother.
