"The video title is actually a good," Robin said.
"By the way, how many floors does this building have? And on which floor are we going to shoot the video?" Christopher asked Adam, who was busy looking at something in his camera.
"Adam, Christopher is asking you something. What are you looking at in your camera, and why is there sweat on your forehead?" Sara asked angrily.
"Oh, it's nothing, guys! I was just fixing a few settings. Well… this place has thirteen floors, and we're going to shoot the video on the top floor," Adam replied, trying to compose himself. From his actions, it looked like he was trying to hide something.
"Have you lost your mind, Adam? We're standing on the second floor, and reaching the thirteenth floor will take our souls out of our bodies. There isn't even a lift here," Amily said, pretending to be all aristocratic.
"It's okay. We'll walk. We're still young— not old people who can't even climb a few stairs. Now hurry up," Jennifer said with a huge attitude, as if it made no difference to her at all.
Then they all began climbing toward the top floor, but Adam was hiding something from everyone, because after checking the camera, the color had drained completely from his face. Along with them, the spirit of the girl that had been clinging to the ceiling was also crawling upward along the walls.
Meanwhile, The Ghost Mentors team was excited about their first car ride, so the three of them decided that instead of going straight home, they would roam around the city for a while and then go to a night club to party. Only after that would they return home. They knew they had just solved their current case, so it would be a long time before a new case arrived. But they didn't know that if life actually worked according to our expectations, then countless people would have been saved simply because they wouldn't have been in the wrong place at the wrong time.
At the same time in London, after punishing the ghost of the boy from the cemetery, Mercy and Micheal were sitting in a restaurant enjoying snacks and coffee. But because of their strange clothing, the people around them kept staring.
"Humans are such pathetic creatures, Micheal. And to be honest, I hate them. I never want to become human again," Mercy said, irritated by the staring eyes around her.
"Why… why are you saying that, Mercy?" Micheal asked, taking a sip of his coffee.
"You know humans spend millions of dollars just to learn every truth about this world. But on the other hand, if the truth doesn't match their standards or if they can't understand it, they call it a lie or treat it like an enemy," Mercy said, lifting her coffee cup.
"It seems like you know quite a lot about humans," Micheal asked in surprise.
"Yes, because before Lucifer made me his commander, he didn't erase my memory." Mercy replied.
"So what's your story before becoming a Hell Commander?" Micheal asked, looking straight into Mercy's eyes.
"Oh, I'll tell you when we have time someday. Besides, I don't like talking about my past. And let me tell you something— if you keep asking girls about their past, you'll never be able to win over any girl, and she'll never agree to date you," Mercy said to Micheal with a smile.
"Alright, if you can give me one example— just one— proving how foolish and clueless humans are, then today's entire restaurant bill is on me. And tonight you can go hunt spirits alone and torture them however you want," Micheal challenged Mercy with a grin.
"I'll give you not one, but two examples. Number one: humans spend millions of dollars building rockets, go into space, and search for life on other planets. Yet the most beautiful planet in the galaxy— Earth— already belongs to them, and they don't pay attention to it. Instead, they pollute it. And then they say they don't have money to keep their planet clean. Meanwhile, if by mistake an alien ever comes to their planet, they'll attack it without even trying to talk, because anything beyond their understanding automatically becomes their enemy," Mercy said, taking the last sip of her coffee.
"Nice. And the second example?" Micheal asked, watching her closely.
"Humans know that even after death they will surely be punished for their sins, yet they keep committing sins anyway. The truth is, humans no longer fear God— they fear other humans. That's why they don't follow the teachings written in God's law books like the Bible or the Bhagavad Gita, but they immediately get scared of the laws made by humans themselves… even though God is the supreme one." Mercy said, then burst into loud laughter.
Micheal agreed with Mercy to some extent. Even though he didn't remember anything from his past lives, after living among humans for so many years, he had understood one thing— humans are more dangerous than ghosts, and you can trust a ghost at least once, but never a human.
Meanwhile, inside the mental asylum, the five friends and Jennifer's boyfriend Robin had reached the fifth floor. But then they saw a door at the very end of the fifth floor, and on it was a cross symbol. It looked as if the cross had been made to keep something trapped behind that door.
"Guys, what do you think— why was this cross made on the door?" Christopher asked his friends.
"Look, whatever the reason is, for now we should stay away from it and keep moving so we can reach the thirteenth floor on time," Robin explained.
"Robin is right. I'm going ahead— anyone who wants to come with me can come. And anyone who wants to open this door and check what's inside can stay here with Christopher." Saying this, Jennifer grabbed Robin's hand and started going up the stairs toward the next floor.
At that moment, Adam, Christopher, Sarah, and Amily were standing on the fifth floor, and with them was also the spirit of the girl who had been watching them from the first floor.
"Guys, let Jennifer go. She isn't interested in this video or in the competition anyway, because she comes from a rich family. But all of us need that prize money, right? And for that, we'll need some spooky clips for the video footage. So come on, let's open this room and check what's inside," Adam said, convincing all his friends to help him open the room.
"Look, I'm going upstairs with Jenny. You guys do whatever you want." Saying this, Amily walked away toward Jennifer and Robin. And right behind Amily, the girl's spirit also followed her to the upper floor.
"Hahaha, these people ran away because they're scared. Well, Sarah and Christopher, I want to tell you something," Adam said, calling them closer. Then Adam showed his camera to Christopher and Sarah and began explaining something. After understanding everything, a dangerous smile appeared on Christopher's face. But Sarah's expression clearly showed fear. It was obvious that Adam was planning something far more dangerous behind the excuse of the video, and now Christopher was with him… and Sarah too. But Sarah wasn't happy with their plan— however, because of her one-sided love for Christopher, she agreed to support Adam and Christopher.
Then Adam, Christopher, and Sarah opened the door of the room with the cross symbol and went inside. And the moment they stepped in, the door shut behind them.
"Why haven't they come up yet, Amily?" Jennifer asked while climbing the stairs.
"How would I know, Jenni? I came upstairs with you right away. Anyway, wait— I'll call them," Amily said, taking out her phone.
But ever since Robin had entered this building, he hadn't been feeling well, and he was sensing some negative vibe from the place. But he thought maybe it was because he had come all the way from Los Angeles, and the change of place and air was affecting him. So he didn't think too much about it.
"Robin, where are you lost when your girlfriend is right here with you?" Jennifer asked, snapping him out of his thoughts.
"Seems like Robin is scared of this place… or maybe he's remembering some girlfriend from Los Angeles," Amily joked, laughing.
But Jennifer didn't like Amily's joke, and she glared at her with angry eyes. Amily got scared immediately and apologized to her at once.
Just then, Sarah, Adam, and Christopher arrived.
"What are you people doing here, and why are you standing around?" Adam asked after seeing Jennifer, Robin, and Amily standing on the seventh floor.
"Where were you all? We were waiting for you. Where did you guys disappear?" Robin asked them gently.
"We aren't cowards and scaredy-cats like you, that's why we were checking that room with the cross on its door," Christopher replied to Robin in a slightly insulting tone.
But Robin didn't take his words to heart because he didn't want any conflict between him and Christopher. So even though Christopher spoke to him so rudely, Robin didn't react. Instead, he told Jenni to keep walking and went ahead toward the next floor.
The girl's spirit, which had been crawling above them on the ceiling, following them upward, suddenly vanished from there— and then possessed Sarah's body. But no one in the group realized it.
"I think we should shoot our video on the ninth floor instead of the thirteenth," Sarah said, giving a creepy smile to her friends.
"Why the ninth floor? Thirteen is super, right? Thirteen is already a number people fear, so if we shoot our video on the thirteenth floor, we'll get the advantage of people considering it unlucky, and our views will increase quickly," Adam answered Sarah.
"But maybe you don't know that the ninth floor of this building is the most haunted one, and there are many stories about it among the people," Sarah explained.
"Stories? What kind of stories?" Amily asked nervously.
"Three years ago, just like us, six people came to this building. They were going to summon a spirit. But due to unseen circumstances, only one girl survived out of the six. She's admitted in a mental asylum now and undergoing treatment. The police say she killed her own friends, but the girl claims her friends were killed not by her, but by the spirit of a doctor— a doctor's ghost who performed post-mortems on all her friends one by one, and then ripped their bodies apart," Sarah said in an eerily frightening voice while revealing the secret of the ninth floor.
Hearing Sarah's story, Amily and Robin became extremely scared and stood there worried. But Jennifer still didn't care, nor did Christopher or Adam react to anything Sarah said.
"Guys, whatever you want to decide, decide it quickly. I don't have time to listen to your nonsense. You should've decided earlier whether we want to shoot on the ninth floor or the thirteenth floor. What's the point of wasting time now? And anyway, we're here to make a haunted video about ghosts, right? So if Sarah is saying that the ninth floor has a doctor's spirit, then why are you all arguing so much? We'll shoot the video on the ninth floor." Saying this, Jennifer announced her decision to everyone.
The moment Jennifer said that, everyone's expressions changed, but no one disagreed with her. And finally they decided that they would shoot the video on the ninth floor.
But as soon as everyone agreed, Sarah gave a very creepy smile, and her eyes turned completely black— something no one noticed. And this made it clear that the girl's spirit that had been following them had now possessed Sarah's body.
What the story of the ninth floor was, and which doctor's spirit was wandering there— all these questions were running through Robin's mind. But he stayed silent because he knew that if he asked anyone for answers, the others would think he was scared and make fun of him, and then even Jennifer might break up with him.
On the other side, Claire, Stephnie, and Lily were roaming inside a mall where a movie was playing titled Final Destination – Bloodlines. All three girls had come to watch a movie at the mall after a long time and were quite excited. But just then, Stephnie saw the spirit of an old guard sitting sadly near the elevator.
When Stephnie saw him upset, she started walking toward him to help, but then she remembered her two friends. So she said to Claire and Lily, "You two go and get three movie tickets and wait for me near the theatre. I'll be right back."
Saying this, Stephnie walked toward the elevator, and watching her leave, Claire said, "Stephnie never lets the two of us go anywhere alone, but now if she's telling us to go by ourselves, it clearly means she must have something important to do. But what could be so important that she needs to go away from us to do it?"
"You're probably forgetting— last time when she came with us to the mall, when I did that lingerie photoshoot, even then when I came out of the trial room, she was talking to someone alone," Lily replied, watching Stephnie walk away.
Meanwhile, Stephnie reached the elevator area and waited for the crowd around it to clear. Once everyone left, Stephnie spoke to the guard's spirit, "Why are you sitting here so sad? And since you've already died, why didn't you go to the afterlife?"
The guard's spirit was first shocked to see Stephnie talking directly to him, and then, surprised, he asked, "You… you can see me?"
"Yes, uncle, I can see you. I'm a medium, so I can see spirits anywhere and anytime," Stephnie replied with a smile.
"Child, come quickly with me toward the fire entrance. A little girl got separated from her family and wandered off while playing. Her family is searching for her in the parking area downstairs. They didn't even realize that the girl never entered the elevator with them," the guard's spirit said anxiously.
Hearing the guard's spirit, Stephnie immediately followed him toward the fire entrance, where the little girl was sitting and crying. Stephnie knelt beside her, calmed her down first, and then informed the mall management that the missing child had been found. The management quickly reunited the girl with her family in the office, and everyone thanked Stephnie. But Stephnie, in return, thanked the guard's spirit for fulfilling his duty even after death.
At that very moment, the guard's spirit dissolved into a soft white light. Perhaps saving the child had been his final, unfinished wish—something that kept him tied to this world.
Just then, Claire and Lily arrived after hearing the mall announcement. Claire rushed toward Stephnie and said, "Stephnie, you should've told us you were going to help a missing child. We would've come with you."
"No, Claire, it wasn't like that," Stephnie replied, and she explained the entire incident to both Claire and Lily. After that, the three girls headed to watch the movie together.
Meanwhile, on the 9th floor of the mental asylum, Jennifer, her boyfriend Robin, and their friends had already reached the location and begun preparing.
