Chapter 33 - Chapter 33

After finishing dinner in the Great Hall, Roy Valvas quietly slipped out of the Hufflepuff dormitory. The castle was calm, with most students already in bed, but Roy had a mission of his own. He headed straight to the library, specifically to the forbidden section, eager to expand his knowledge beyond standard Hogwarts texts. While he avoided black magic tomes, he explored rare spellbooks, ancient magical theories, and alchemical manuscripts that few had dared to touch.

As he was reading a particularly old volume on invisibility enchantments, a faint scuffling sound caught his attention. Thanks to his Dark Phoenix Bloodline, Roy's hearing was over ten times sharper than a normal human, allowing him to pinpoint the source immediately. His instincts told him that something unusual—and potentially dangerous—was happening.

Silently, Roy closed his book, extinguished the candlelight, and moved toward the noise. Through the dim corridors of Hogwarts, he saw two young boys running frantically, their movements erratic. Behind them was Argus Filch, the caretaker, scowling as he gave chase.

Roy didn't hesitate. Using his agility and strength, he darted forward, grabbing the hands of the twins and yanking them aside just as Filch was about to catch them. With a flick of his wrist, he activated a stealth alchemy product he had created while training with Nicolas Flamel—a potion that rendered him and the twins invisible. Filch passed right by, muttering in frustration, completely unaware of their presence.

Once safe, the twins gasped in relief and let out a simultaneous, "Thank you! We would have been caught for sure!"

Roy smiled. "No problem. You're safe now."

The twins introduced themselves breathlessly. "I'm Fred Weasley, and this is my brother George," they said, shaking his hand. "We've been sneaking around too much lately… and today could have been the end of us."

Curious, Fred tilted his head. "What was that? How did you do… that?"

Roy grinned mysteriously. "It's something I created myself. Just a little alchemy trick. Makes you invisible for a short time." He intentionally didn't mention Nicolas Flamel to keep his secret.

George's eyes lit up. "That is amazing! Can we… borrow it sometime?"

Roy chuckled. "Sure. But be careful. It doesn't last forever, and you'll need to be smart about using it."

The twins nodded eagerly, their admiration for Roy immediately apparent. From that moment, a new friendship was formed. The three of them walked quietly back toward their dormitories, invisible to the rest of the castle, sharing laughs and whispers about magical inventions and pranks.

As they parted ways in the dormitory corridor, Roy returned to his room, already planning the next experiment he would attempt in the forbidden section, while Fred and George excitedly whispered about showing their friends this incredible "invisibility trick" the next day.
