Chapter 5 — The Memory in the White World
While unconscious, Lare stood in a pure white imaginary world.
A man appeared in front of him.
Tall. Strong. Eyes filled with warmth.
"Please survive… my child. I will return someday."
Lare trembled.
"Father…? Your face… I can't see it."
The man raised his hand.
A small dragon made of light flew toward Lare.
"This is my gift to you, Lare. A blessing of tomorrow."
The dragon entered his chest gently.
Lare felt warmth for the first time in his new life.
He whispered,
"I don't even know if you're my real father… but… why do I feel like crying?"
His eyes filled with tears.
The man smiled sadly.
"We will meet again."
The world shattered.

Lare Wakes Up
His system rang loudly.
> [YOU HAVE RECEIVED THE CREATOR'S GIFT]
[DRAGON MARK OBTAINED — DEVOUR DRAGON POWER INSTANTLY]
[ALEX MASTER UNLOCKED — 17TH CIRCLE MAGE]
[INNER GOD RANK REACHED]
Lare sat up slowly.
Raen jumped on him instantly.
"YOU'RE ALIVE!!!"
Aricus stared at him with disbelief.
"You're… now a 17th circle mage?"
Lare nodded.
Raen screamed and fell unconscious again.
