''Woahhhhhhh Dad! is that the plane you built? Togata exclaims in excitement. ''Yeah that's it I didn't do it alone thought, that's the ozone glider as we called it back in it's starting faze''. Tom recalls in nostalgia. ''I always thought that name was corny''. replies a blonde man wearing an astronaut suit. Tom smiles ''Speak of the devil, Jamie.. What are you wearing?!'' He exclaims laughing.
''Well since we're gonna be some of the only people off the planet it makes sense we look the part?''. Jamie replies with a smug look. ''You look ridiculous Jamie''. Togata's mom says giggling. ''Jamie I'll take that as a compliment from someone as beautiful as you natty.'' Jamie flirts. Tom laughs. ''Hey, didn't tell you to try to steal my wife Jamie. Togata remember Jamie my colleague.
''Yeah he's an American, you said most of them are loud mouthed and insane''. Togata says semi innocently. ''Did he now?'' Jamie replies. Tom laughs. ''Huh well if you knew what this thing does you would be thinking your dad is crazy, everyone else did but look at you now Tom always knew you had it in ya, also knew I had it in myself''. Jamie continues, putting a hand around Tom's shoulder.
''Enough dilly dallying you pansies, this things fast but it'll still take 4 hours come on get on''. Says a brash looking man in a fighter pilots outfit. Everyone gets on the aircraft, Togata still excited. Tom basically glued to the window. ''Calm down now Tom you look more excited than the kid''. teases Jamie.
''Oh shut it, Togata tell me how does a plane fly?''. Tom says still excited. ''Bernoulli's Principle! Although I still don't know how it works'' Togata replies basically jumping in his seat. Tom pats his head proudly. ''That's my boy, don't worry you'll get there soon. And how does this flight work?'' Tom asks again. ''We climb into space! then we rideeee the orbit baby like uncle Jamie says''. Togata says making his hand into a waving motion. ''Oh yeah!! that's my jam! Damn that kid's smart we gotta ridee that orbit baby!'' Jamie replies. ''Ride the orbit baby!'' everyone says in the aircraft. ''Please fasten your seatbelts we're approaching max altitude''. The pilot says over the PA system.
Togata looks outside the window starts to freeze. ''There goes the view''. Tom says. ''Dad? How do we stay warm in space''. Jamie cuts in. ''I got this one Tommy boy, well your dad here found some sort of special material he says he got from aliens''. Teases Jamie.
''Aliens!!? their real!''. Togata says excitedly. ''As real as any of us''. Tom replies. ''Don't say that at the conference Tommy, they might fire you''. Teases Jamie. ''So do you and uncle Jamie get to talk to aliens?!''.
''You could say that''. Jamie replies. ''That's so cool! I wanna do your job when I grow up dad!''. ''No son aim higher, you know if I had my way I would be doing cooler stuff than this, never settle for average, ok? promise me''. Tom says still star struck looking out the window as the ice unfreezes and view comes back for just long enough to see the stars. ''Yeah dad I promise.'' Togata says finding himself lost in the view as well, his mom holding him close. ''That's the spirit, your old man here builds planes so guess what you'll be building rockets''. ''Yeah! I'm gonna build rockets!''. ''Oh don't fill his head with such things Tom''. Togata's mom replies. ''Oh c'mon honey nothing wrong with a boy dreaming, by the way, with his mom's brains, I'm sure he can achieve anything he wants''. Tom says.
''Oh don't flatter me''. His mom replies smiling. ''Be ready for descent''. The pilot says over the PA system. ''Here we go descent, buckle up Togata, this is gonna be like a rollercoaster!''. Jamie says putting on his seatbelt. ''I hate this part''. Togata's mom replies. ''Don't be a downer honey, this is gonna be fun''. Tom says grinning widely. ''Whatever you say darling, Togata when you grow up never do this job!!''. She says as they enter a steep descent angle towards the ground. Togata shouts in joy. After almost a minute they land. ''Alright everybody touch down! we've made history, welcome to London!''. Togata hears loud cheers as they come off the plane. Paparazzi fill the area taking pictures of the aircraft and all it's engineers.
Jamie enjoys the attention striking poses. As people bring a podium and microphone to Tom. ''Anything to say sir?''. A paparazzi asks. ''Yes, as those that have come before this is the product of a dream shared by me and all of my colleagues one where humans are amongst the stars, and as we have fulfilled this dream, those that come after us will take is further''. Tom says smiling at Togata and holding his wife's hand, Jamie joins in the family picture. ''Incredible work Tom now go enjoy your holiday with your family''. Jamie says smiling. Togata's and his family take a bus straight to the Big Ben, when they arrive Togata's mom starts crying. ''Mom? what's wrong?''. Togata asks worried. ''Nothing honey, it's just that, when we got married your father said he would take me to London, I just never knew we would actually get too''. She says sobbing tears of joy. ''Hmm! so you doubted me??!''. Tom pouts. ''How could I doubt my handsome husband''. She gives him a kiss. ''Ewww''. Togata exclaims. ''Ohh it's disgusting huh? I can't wait till your a teenager and bring home your first girlfriend''. His mom teases. ''Never! girls are gross!''. Togata replies. ''Now now don't scare me I'm not ready for that yet''. Tom says rubbing a cold sweat off his forehead. ''Now! let's enjoy LONDON!''. Togata and Tom look at each other''. ''Yeah!!''.
They enter a carnival with games and Togata gets into an argument with a spoilt child over who won the prize as they hit it at the same time. ''Hey! that's my son's!''. Says a woman who seems to be the mother of the child. ''Please be civil miss I'm sure we can settle this calmly''. Togata's mom replies. ''No, My kid won that fair and square it's his!''. She says louder drawing attention. ''Please calm down miss''. Togata's mom replies again trying to be nice. ''Oh shut it woman you and your tourist brat can win another prize''. She says. ''Don't you dare call my child a brat you skank! fine since you won't be civil what about we play for it? winner takes all''. Togata's mom replies. ''You're on ya cheap escort!''. The woman says.
''Gun please!''. They both say to the game master watching this all go down. ''Will mom lose dad?''. Togata asks. ''Oh no that woman doesn't know what she got herself into, your mom was raised by an quite umm outdoors family, she's had a gun in hand since she could walk''. Tom replies. Togata lights up. ''My mom's gonna kick your mom's butt!''. Togata tells the boy. Togata's mom shoots the targets down one handed easily outdoing the woman who seems shocked. ''I win''. Togata's mom says innocently as if back to her normal self. ''You're a Damn serial killer lady''. The woman says. ''And you're a loser''. Togata's mom replies smiling falsely. Togata blows rasberries to the other child as he cries. ''Thanks mom!''. Togata says. ''Of course honey no one messes with the Toriyama's this is our city now!''. She says smiling almost demonically. ''Damn I love it when you get fired up''. Tom says giving her a kiss. ''Ewww stop it!''. Togata says. His parents just laugh.
As the day ends they walk down back home, it starts to rain, the streets empty as everyone has already headed home. The Toriyama family enjoying the evening. ''Dad, Mom? tomorrow let's go see the queen ok!?''. They laugh. ''Sure honey whatever you want''. His mom replies. ''Togata you know we love you right?''. Tom says suddenly serious. ''Yeah yeah dad I know don't be cringe''. Togata replies. ''Good, we just want the best for you, and whatever happens we just want you to enjoy your life hear me? Don't let anything stop you from doing that''. Tom says. ''Honey what's wrong''. Togata's mom asks. Tom just sighs ''Nothing honey, I'm alright just feeling a bit emotional''. ''Aww common gimmie a hug''. She replies. The family hug Togata squeezed in the middle. ''Mom, Dad, too tight''. He says smiling.
Suddenly. BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! ''Huh?''. Togata exclaims. ''Honey? Honey!''. Togata's mom shouts out as she sees blood run down Togata's fathers head He winces in pain Togata is shocked he freezes and sees as blood runs down his dad's head, he looks to the left and sees a creature staring pointing some device at them. ''Run! take Togata''. Tom shouts as Natasha grabs Togata and heads for safety.
''Wait dad!''. Togata exclaims, he looks back to see his dad charge straight for the creature while scurrying he can't see everything but it seems his dad is fighting the thing. But he loses sight of him, Although it seems injured it still manages to raise it's arm and point the device at Togata and his mom as it shoots at them. BOOM! ''Mom?''. Togata asks worried. No reply comes, suddenly she drops. ''Mommy!''.
