Hong is the village hunter and warrior. He is the strongest person in this village.
Sometimes he hunt animals or beasts. Sometimes he defend the village.
After only a few minutes Hong and the guard that called him, along with three other people can be seen running toward the village entrance.
Hong is a burly man. When you look at him you can sense that he projects strength.
He has a stern looks but he also seem dependable because of that.
The other three that came with him also looks experienced.
All four came with their respective gear and wearing armor from animal hide.
"Chief." Once they arrive at the entrance Hong greets the chief and nod.
The chief nod back at the greetings.
"I get the gist of the situation, I'll go check around the area right away."
When the guard called him he also told Hong about the situation so Hong already understand what he suppose to do.
The chief nod to Hong and said, "be careful!" Then Hong move right away.
While the hunter team are checking the area, the chief invite Cloud into his house.
It takes a while to do because they can't understand each other but after using hands and sign he finally succeed.
One of the guard offered to come because he was worried that Cloud might do something to the chief but he was rejected by the chief.
As the two walk into the village toward the chief's house, Cloud take the time look around the village.
The village is quite small. Inside the wall there are several small courtyards with thatch houses and mud wall.
There are some people here and there that Cloud can see when passes through.
But there are not much. Cloud estimate that there are probably less than 100 people at this village.
After walking for a short distance they finally arrives at the chief's house.
It is a courtyard that is a little bigger compared to the others.
The house is also a little better. It's still thatch house but it is a bit bigger and cleaner.
They sit at the table outside the house and the chief serve Cloud with tea.
He then bring a brush and paper to write. To see if he can get more information from Cloud.
The chief first try using the common writing to see if Cloud can understand it.
Cloud look at it for a moment and thought that it's similar to a Chinese writing from where he came from.
But it's completely different words also, because Cloud can't recognize anything at all.
He learned some Chinese writing before so if it is so, he would at least be able to recognize some.
But this is completely foreign.
He shake his head to the chief Indicating that he didn't understand.
The chief then think for a moment then he draw something again on the paper.
When he show it to Cloud it looks like a drawing of a home.
Cloud is not that stupid so he understand that the chief is asking about where his home is or where he came from.
But he just shake his head again to the chief because he also doesn't know where his home is or where he came from.
After about 30 minutes, Hong and the other came back.
He go to the chief's house right away to report.
In conclusion he manage to track where Cloud came from.
He have some tracking skill so it's not that hard for him to do.
In the end he only found that the tracks end in the place where Cloud woke up.
He also look around the area for sign of bandits or accomplishment he found nothing at all.
"So what should we do with him?" Asked Hong after repotting all his findings.
The chief think for a moment then reply, "it seems that he probably is just a strange person. Doesn't seem to have I'll intentions toward the village."
"Driving him away seems too much. Let's just let him stay for a while and see his intentions."
Hong agree to the chief then he say, "alright, since that's the case then let's just let him live at my place. That way I can also keep an eye on him."
The chief agree.
