(Recap / Intro)
Previously, Jay unleashed his true strength inside the cave—slaughtering every demon and summoning his terrifying Blood Army.
Now, the story continues…
The Cave Aftermath
Smoke drifted out of the cave entrance, spreading across the ground like a fading shadow. One by one, the surviving members stumbled out—exhausted, terrified, and confused.
Outside, Officer Tejus stood waiting, arms crossed.
"I heard the cave gate suddenly shut," Tejus said, stepping forward. "So I rushed here to save everyone… but you all walked out on your own? How?"
Before anyone could answer, Jay emerged.
Dust covered his clothes. His expression was calm, but his aura—deadly, heavy, and unfamiliar—was impossible to ignore.
Tejus narrowed his eyes.
This boy… his aura is completely different. He's not the same kid I met before… He doesn't feel human anymore.
He asked, "Who defeated the boss inside the cave?"
A girl quickly stepped forward.
"Leader defeated it, sir!"
Jay said nothing.
He simply looked at the sky, as if the world around him didn't matter.
Tejus tried again.
"What is your power level?"
Jay glanced at him and replied coldly,
"Why should I tell you?"
Without waiting for a response, he walked away.
Road Back Home
Jay and Arjun walked side by side, the evening breeze brushing past them.
Arjun finally spoke.
"Jay… you've changed. There's something different inside you now."
Jay smiled faintly.
"Maybe."
Arjun hesitated before saying, "I'm leaving tomorrow… but remember one thing—you'll always be my best friend."
Jay stopped walking, and for the first time, emotion touched his face.
"You're my true friend too, Arjun."
The two friends hugged tightly, knowing things would never be the same again.
Jay's Room — A New Power Awakens
Later, Jay entered his room, closed the door, and opened the diary.
He whispered,
"TP to Demon World."
A crimson glow burst from the pages. The Blood Sword materialized in his hand—its dark blade pulsing like a living heart.
Jay stared at it.
"From today… I need to become even stronger."
He began training, his sword slicing through the air with fierce momentum. Sparks of red energy spread with every strike.
Then, suddenly—
A line appeared in the diary:
"Please check — your sword has been upgraded."
Jay opened the sword page.
A new line flashed:
"New Sword Unlocked: Soulrender."
Power: Uses souls to make the wielder stronger.
Jay's eyes widened.
"Soulrender… so I can grow stronger by using souls?"
A dark blue glow flickered in his eyes—like a new power waking inside him.
Goodbye, Arjun
The next morning, Jay stood outside Arjun's house.
Arjun was packing his bags when he walked in.
"Bye, Arjun," Jay said.
Arjun smiled. "Take care, Jay."
Jay nodded—but inside, his thoughts were far darker.
I must grow stronger… strong enough to learn everything about my mother… my father… and the truth behind my bloodline.
The camera of fate seemed to zoom toward Jay's hand, where the newly awakened Soulrender shimmered with a cold, deadly glow.
And with that—chapter end's
