Previously, Jay descended upon the battlefield, summoning his Blood Army and wielding the Soulrender Sword. His overwhelming power decimated the demon forces, but a mysterious, human-like aura hinted at an even greater threat.
The scene opens with Jay seated atop his Soul Dragon, surveying the chaos below. As he lands, he dismisses the dragon, letting it vanish into the sky, and immediately summons his Blood Army. Red energy radiates from his Soulrender Sword, engulfing the battlefield in a crimson aura.
One by one, demons fall before Jay's onslaught. His movements are precise, deadly—yet the most powerful demons charge at him together. One particularly strong demon lands a devastating punch, sending Jay skidding backward across the cracked earth.
The Blood Army, fueled by Jay's rage, erupts as one, crashing into the demons in a synchronized wave of blood and steel. Jay steadies himself, merging his attacks with theirs, the ground trembling with their combined might.
He yells, "Give Soul Armour to the Blood Army!"
Instantly, glowing red-and-blue armors materialize over every soldier. Their power multiplies exponentially, and they tear through the remaining demon forces with ruthless efficiency.
Jay advances further, cutting down waves of demons, thinking to himself:
"Where are these demons coming from…? Is someone controlling them?"
Suddenly, he senses a powerful, human-like aura emanating from nearby. Without hesitation, Jay sprints toward it. There, among the rubble, he sees a man—Dhruv.
Jay: "Who… are you?"
Dhruv: "I am Dhruv, head of the Devil Slayer Team."
Jay recalls the legends of this team—formed eight years ago to confront the devil—and realizes their significance. He focuses his energy and fires a massive energy blast, clearing debris and rescuing Dhruv.
Dhruv: "My team is trapped here! Save them!"
Jay moves swiftly, saving another young man. But when he reaches a young woman, she kicks him away, standing defiantly.
Girl: "Who are you?"
Jay: "I'm here to save you."
Girl: "Why should I trust you?"
Dhruv intervenes: "He is with us."
Dhruv: "There's one more boy. A demon took him. That demon was searching for someone named 'Jay'… and the boy's name is Arjun."
Jay's expression hardens. His gaze turns steely.
Jay: "Everyone else… get out of here. I'll bring Arjun back."
Dhruv and his team retreat, leaving Jay alone. He sprints through the battlefield, calling out desperately:
Jay: "Arjun… where are you trapped? And why was that demon looking for me?"
The chapter ends with a tense, intense soundtrack, hinting at the coming confrontation.
