"How come I never noticed the incense before?"
"Maybe it was put when we were with your father."
Claire clenched her hands into a fist. She got out of the bed covered in the coverings and walked to the bathroom. hunter put on the trouser of the pajamas and removed the blanket and saw blood stains.
"So, it was your first time, huh?"
Claire was in the bathtub and was silently cursing at Hunter, her back was aching, she felt sore and numb all over. She sat in the bathtub very long by the time she came out of the bathroom, Hunter had already made the bed and was only waiting for Claire to come from the bathroom. Claire found him sitting on the bed.
"You can go now and take a shower. "
"I thought that there was no water."
"Whoever planned for this to happen ensured that there was no means for us to calm ourselves. Go and have your shower, we have to go to work. Remove my laptop from where you had placed it."
Hunter removed the laptop and gave Claire the laptop then went to take a shower. They went downstairs and found the family sitting in the living room. Mr. Phillips was reading a newspaper as for Mrs. Philips, she was having a chat with the maid, who was complementing her beauty.
"You guys have woken up already?" Mrs. Phillips commented after she saw the both of them coming down the stairs. "You can have a meal then you can be on your way."
"I want to have a word with you, father. Hunter, you go and have breakfast."
Hunter nodded and went to the dining room. Mr. Phillips and Claire went to a more seclded area.
"What was all of that about?"
"I wanted to be sure that the two of you have really something going on. "
"I ---- never mind. "
She went and joined Hunter in the dining room. After the breakfast, they went to the car.
In The Car.
'' Are we going to your place so that I can put my things."
"Hannah has already taken your things. We are going to the company. "
'' Why do you seem tired we've slept longer than usual."
"Excuse me?"
"I meant resting. What are you thinking about?"
"I did not know that you were a dog in disguise."
"Are you referring to me?"
"Drive me to the company and stop talking." She closed her eyes showing that she was not allowing room for discussion.
Hunter drove to the company, and each went to their working areas.
