Hannah was passing by when she heard the commotion. She went to Claire's office after everything had settled down.
"Hi there Mdm., stevens."
"Say whatever you want. "
"Are you not angry that I am calling you Mdm. Stevens?"
"Even if I ask you to stop, you will still continue calling me that, but don't you ever call me that in front of people."
"What did you tell Hunter when he is fuming?"
"How?"
"He raised his voice at Mr. Miller. "
"I think it is because I made him redo the work that George Miller had done. It's normal for him to be angry anyway."
A knock comes at the door.
"Come in. "
Miller gets in. Hannah goes and stands behind Claire.
"You asked for me Miss."
"How did you write the proposal given to you yesterday? You can pack your things and leave."
"Miss I will redo the work please don't fire me."
"Take this proposal and work on it again."
"Yes Miss."
George takes the proposal and goes back to the department.
"You let him leave like that. You can just fire him and ask Hunter to become the new supervisor."
"Hunter said that he is not interested in being the supervisor and that he is ok with Miller being the supervisor."
"Once he is done being your pretend boyfriend, then I will take him to be my boyfriend."
"Excuse me? "
"I was just joking."
"Go back to work."
Lunch Break,
Hunter takes his phone and calls Roy.
"Hey buddy."
"Hey there my guy. Why are you calling me at this time of the day?"
"Can't I call you just because I want to know how you're doing."
"You tend to call me if you want my help or you have something to tell me. Go on tell me what you want."
"I won't be able to come and train with you guys today. I am not leaving work early."
"Your girlfriend asked you to do so."
"You are really good at guessing things. Another thing man, I slept with her."
"WHAAAATTTTT."
"It was unexpected."
"How was it?"
"What?"
"Laying her."
"I discovered she was a virgin."
"That is not a surprise anyways. She is a career woman, and you even suspect that she is a lesbian. At least you now know that."
"Yeah. It was great having her in my bed. I also have to be very obedient or else I am toast."
"You need a woman who can keep you on deck."
"Don't worry you will find yours too in the near future."
They continue talking until work time resumes. At 4 pm Hunter's co-workers started leaving one after another. Hunter kept looking at them with teary eyes.
"Hey Hunter, let's leave now."
"I am not leaving right now."
"Do you have more work to do?"
"Let's say something like that."
"Can I help you?"
"No, it is ok."
"See you tomorrow."
Everyone left except for Mr. Miller. He did the proposal again and took the work to the President's office. He came back to the department and found Hunter there.
"I thought you always left for home early."
"Why do you think I am still here if not for you."
"Miss is in a meeting with the shareholders. As his driver it is also natural for you to wait for her."
"Leave before you greet Mr. Fist right now. "
"See you tomorrow boy. One more thing don't you ever raise your voice in front of everyone, remember that I helped you get this job."
"See you tomorrow, George."
George took his things and left.
