Chapter 30 - Chapter 030: He Must Be A Good Coach

He looked at me in disbelief, too shocked at how I had taken them down so easily.

"What? You came here without truly understanding your target?" I asked, playing with the knife in my hand.

Blood covered my hands and drenched my white shirt.

I moved behind him, pushed him to the floor, and placed his arms behind his back before kneeling on him.

"They must have told you that it was just one woman in her early twenties. Someone who returned from abroad and was on her own."

The man glared at me.

"Too bad for you, even those who told you to scare me are unaware of the extent of my capabilities."

I turned to face his hands while keeping my weight on him.

"Now, I'm taking the promised souvenir."

"You- AAAAHHHH!!!!"

His scream echoed in the empty parking lot as I snapped his finger that had a ring on it.

I noticed that they all have this ring, so this must be their trademark.

It was a ring with a shark symbol.

"Shhhh, it's still too early, be quiet," I said as I twisted the finger even more to snap the bones off completely.

"AAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!"

He thrashed weakly beneath me, but my positioning was enough for him to be unable to throw me off.

"I said, be quiet. Are you trying to wake people up?"

Of course, I wouldn't put him to sleep just to shut him up. It is not like the guards would be coming here. I don't think Richard would be stupid enough to let anyone witness me being scared off.

Not that I was the one who ended up being scared.

I then used my knife to slowly cut off the finger.

The man kept fainting from the pain and waking up because of it. The blood flowed in my hands, like a warmer in this cold weather.

Once done, I looked at my masterpiece, "I think I have a box or something in my car. I should put it there, then add a ribbon so that it will become a presentable gift."

I then looked back at him.

"Now that I've got what I need, time for you to sleep as well."

He was too weak to move now that, even after I stood up, he didn't try to run or fight again.

"Why?" he weakly asked.

I guess I am getting better at guessing other people's minds. Now, I can even understand his question, even though it was just a one-word one. I should thank Kieran for that, even though it's just been a few days.

He must be a good coach.

"You're asking me why I did not kill you first before cutting off your finger?"

He looked at me with resignation in his eyes.

I smiled, "Where's the fun of that? You came here to play with me. So, I entertained you."

"..."

I smiled and swung my hand down, putting the knife to his neck.

I pulled out my handkerchief to wipe my hands and my knife before taking my phone.

It is now almost 5 in the morning, which means I did everything for about an hour.

"That's too long," I muttered.

I then made a call to Michael, it took a bit more rings compared to the past few times before he picked up.

"I need another garbage cleanup."

"..."

"You know what? Maybe you can just give me the number of a cleanup crew that can be called 24/7. You know how much I love cleaning up trash."

"Where?" he asked.

I could hear exhaustion in his voice.

They must have had a lot of work done the night before.

"Kingsley Conglomerate main building parking lot."

"..."

"I was given a gift just as I stepped out of the building after some long overtime, and I quite messily unwrapped it."

"Ask Kieran," he finally said before ending the call.

He must be talking about the contact information of the cleanup crew that I should ask Kieran instead.

After getting inside my car and finding a box to put the finger in, I decided to just return to the villa to take a bath. I can just be late for my second day, I already had overtime in my first day anyway.

...

When I got back, it was already six in the morning.

Kieran had just stepped down when I opened the door.

"Oh, hi. Good morning."

He looked at me from head to toe.

"I played a bit."

After a thought, "I have it on video, I'll send it to you. You can see how awesome I am for your breakfast."

Then I walked to the stairs, "And by the way. Michael told me to ask you about the cleanup crew I could call 24/7. I called him again today for one. I suggested that he give me the contact information, and he told me to ask you."

After a thought, I shrugged, "You are the boss after all."

"..."

He looked at his phone without saying anything. He must be looking at the video I just sent.

I shrugged again. He will send it to me if he wants. If he doesn't, then I'll just keep on calling Michael.

I took a warm, long shower to wash off the blood that had dried up.

Once done, I came down to make some breakfast, and found that he had already left.

Coffee and some eggs with bacon were enough to satiate my hunger.

Then it is time to return to the office.

"This is why I hate office work," I couldn't help but complain as I started the car.

Then my phone lit up, as a notification came in.

It was a contact information with the name 'Sweeper'.

I smiled, "I guess he enjoyed my awesomeness."
