Chapter 13 - The Monday After the End of the World

Saitama woke up.

He stared at his ceiling. There was a stain there shaped like a duck. It was still there.

Good. Normalcy.

He sat up, scratching his stomach. The intense battle against the Deleted Draft... the fusion warriors... the sentient ink... it felt like a weird fever dream induced by bad supermarket sushi.

"Genos," Saitama called out. "Breakfast."

"Yes, Sensei!"

Genos marched into the kitchen. He was wearing his pink apron. But something was wrong.

One of his arms wasn't his usual incineration cannon.

It was red. It had gold trim. And it looked distinctly... Iron Man-ish.

"Sensei," Genos said, holding a spatula. "My self-repair systems had to improvise using debris from the Event. I believe this forearm belongs to a 'Stark Industries' Mark 50 unit. It has a laser that cuts toast perfectly."

Saitama blinked. "Debris? From the Event?"

"Yes." Genos pointed out the window. "We are back in Z-City. But Z-City is not... entirely in Z-City anymore."

Saitama walked to the window.

He opened the curtains.

The street was there. The supermarket was there.

But hovering above the supermarket, defying all zoning laws and physics, was the floating island of Aincrad (Sword Art Online).

And to the left? A giant wall. The Maria Wall (Attack on Titan).

And circling the shattered moon above was the Death Star.

"Huh," Saitama said.

He closed the curtains.

He opened them again.

Aincrad was still there.

"So," Saitama asked. "We didn't win?"

"We defeated the entity," Genos explained, flipping a pancake with microscopic precision. "However, according to the Hero Association's emergency broadcast... the universes did not separate. They coalesced."

"Coalesced?"

"We are roommates now, Sensei. With everyone."

Saitama looked at his cactus.

"Is rent going up?"

Location: The Clover Kingdom

Black Bulls Base

"HAHA! DIE, DEMONS!"

Asta was outside, doing one-handed handstand pushups while swinging his sword with his feet.

"9,998... 9,999...!"

"Shut up, Shrimp!" Yami kicked the wall out from inside. "I'm trying to take a dump, and the dimensional interference is messing with my focus!"

Asta flipped onto his feet. "Good Morning, Captain Yami! The mana in the air feels spicy today!"

"That's not mana," Yami grunted, pulling up his pants. He walked outside and pointed his katana at a intruder sitting on their lawn.

Sitting on a tree stump, looking completely lost, was a man with green hair and three swords.

Roronoa Zoro.

"Oi," Yami puffed his cigarette. "Who are you? A spy from the Diamond Kingdom?"

Zoro looked around, squinting his one eye. "Is this the Thousand Sunny? The architecture changed."

"You're in the Black Bulls, seaweed-head," Yami flared his Dark Magic. "Trespassers get crushed."

"Hah?" Zoro stood up, hand on Wado Ichimonji. "You want to fight? I'm just looking for booze."

"Booze?" Yami paused. The aura of death vanished instantly. "Why didn't you say so? Vanessa! Get the good stuff! We have a drinking buddy!"

Asta watched in awe. "Ki Sensing says... that guy is REALLY lost. Like, spiritually lost."

CRASH.

The roof of the Black Bulls base exploded inward.

Dust filled the courtyard.

Standing in the rubble wasn't an enemy.

It was a teenager with a bowl cut, eating a cream puff.

Mash Burnedead.

"My door," Mash said, holding a broken piece of the Black Bulls' roof. "It was heavy."

"YOU CAME BACK WITH US?!" Asta screamed, stars in his eyes. "MASH-KUN!"

"I followed the smell of gains," Mash noted. He looked at Zoro. He looked at Yami. "Do you guys have protein powder?"

Yami sighed. "Magna! Finral! Add two more bunks. We're running a daycare for muscle idiots now."

Location: U.A. High School (Japan... Sort of)

Class 1-A Homeroom

Shota Aizawa (Eraserhead) looked tired.

He always looked tired, but today he looked existentially tired.

"Sit down," Aizawa activated his Quirk, hair floating up. "The Morning Homeroom is starting."

"Deku-kun!" Uraraka whispered. "Your costume... it's glowing."

"Yeah," Midoriya whispered back, adjusting his gloves. Since the fight in the Void, faint traces of Ki and Haki were leaking from One For All. "I can't turn it off. It feels... fuzzy."

"Silence," Aizawa commanded. "Due to the 'Dimensional Merger Incident', the School Board has authorized an emergency syllabus change. Also, we have Transfer Students. Because apparently, hero licenses are now multi-universal."

Aizawa gestured to the door.

"Come in."

The door slid open.

First in: Killua Zoldyck. Hands in pockets, skateboard under arm.

"Yo," Killua smirked. "This is the hero school? The security is pathetic."

"WHAT DID YOU SAY?!" Bakugo exploded instantly. "I'LL KILL YOU, WHITE-HAIR!"

Killua just stuck out his tongue. "Try it, Sparky."

Second in: Megumin. Wearing the U.A. uniform (with cape).

"My name is Megumin! Arch-Wizard of the Crimson Demons! My Quirk is EXPLOSION! And I can use it once a day before passing out!"

Aizawa face-palmed. "Another logic-defying liability. Just take a seat."

Third in: Tanjiro Kamado. He bowed deeply to every single desk.

"Hello! Nice to meet you! Is there a demon in this box? No? Okay, sorry for asking!"

"That kid..." Bakugo narrowed his eyes. "Why does he smell like charcoal and kindness? It pisses me off!"

Fourth in: Vegeta.

Leaning against the doorframe, arms crossed.

He wasn't a student. He was clearly an adult. But he walked in anyway.

"I am not a student," Vegeta declared. "But my son, Trunks, has enrolled. I am here to ensure the curriculum is adequate."

"Sir, parents aren't allowed in cl—" Aizawa started.

Vegeta pointed a finger. A beam of energy erased the blackboard.

"Class 1-A," Vegeta barked. "Your power levels are trash. Starting today, PE is cancelled. We are doing Gravity Training. Anyone who vomits runs ten laps."

Iida raised his hand robotically. "Excuse me! Sir! This violates school policy!"

"Policy?" Vegeta scoffed. "In this new world, strength is the only policy."

Location: The Sky Above Vector Prime

(Wait, wasn't Vector Prime destroyed? No.)

High above the merged Earth—now a patchwork planet of continents from different animes—the System booted up.

It wasn't the menacing Eye from before. It was a sleeker, blue interface visible to everyone with power.

Kazuma Satou sat on his porch in the Axel District (now located next to Shibuya).

He read the message in the sky.

He checked his Debt Counter.

[DEBT: 500,000,000 ERIS / YEN / JENNY]

"The debt fused too," Kazuma wept, hugging his knees. "The debt fused too."

"Kazuma!" Aqua ran out, holding a weird fruit. It was purple with swirls.

"Look! I found this fruit in the new forest! I bet it sells for a lot!"

Kazuma looked at it.

Gomu Gomu no Mi? No. Yami Yami no Mi?

Kazuma slapped it out of her hand.

"DON'T EAT MYSTERY FRUITS IN A CROSSOVER, YOU IDIOT!"

The fruit rolled away... and was promptly eaten by a passing giant toad.

The toad grew darkness wings and began chanting in Latin.

"See?!" Kazuma screamed. "That could have been you!"

Evening: The Global News Network

A holographic screen appeared over every major city—Z-City, Konoha, Soul Society, Magnolia.

The news anchor wasn't a human. It was Pecorine (Princess Connect!) standing next to All Might.

"Welcome to the New World!" All Might shouted, blood coughing slightly. "It is fine! Why? Because we are here! All of us!"

Pecorine waved. "Today's Top Story: The Demon King Alliance!"

The screen shifted.

A round table.

Sitting there were the Heavy Hitters.

Muzan Kibutsuji.

All For One.

Blackbeard.

Sukuna.

Esdeath.

And at the head of the table... someone new.

Someone who hadn't been in Phase 1.

A man with a cross necklace, sharp eyes, and an aura that screamed "Final Boss Energy."

Chrollo? No.

Aizen? He was regenerating in a tank nearby.

It was Griffith.

Femto.

"The separation failed," Griffith spoke, his voice melodious and terrifying. "The chaotic Draft is gone. But in its place... a Kingdom awaits. A kingdom where we define the narrative."

Griffith looked at the camera. He broke the Fourth Wall with a gentle smile.

"Let the Golden Age begin."

Scene: The Reaction

Guts (currently sharpening his sword in a smithy run by Hephaestus from Danmachi) stopped moving.

His brand bled.

"Griffith..." Guts stood up. The heat in the smithy dropped ten degrees.

Saitama (eating udon with Genos) paused mid-slurp.

"That shiny guy on TV," Saitama pointed with his chopsticks. "He looks punchable."

Genos scanned the screen.

"Threat Level: God. Would you like me to mark his coordinates?"

Saitama finished his noodles. He drank the broth.

"Nah. It's Tuesday. Tuesday is streaming night. King is waiting for me in the lobby."

He stood up, tossing his receipt in the trash.

"If he makes a mess in my neighborhood though," Saitama cracked his knuckles. "I'll deal with it."

End of Chapter 11.
